I was looking for it and did not find it. Anyway, it is also to learn about the build system behind, so i did not waste any time :)

I have no issues with the 64Bit Version and why not use it if i have a 64Bit CPU

Hmm... you could have simply navigate to this website and use the already precompiled version of kino 1.1.1.
http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/graphics/kino

There is also one package dor 64 Bit processor.
http://packages.ubuntu.com/cgi-bin/download.pl?arch=amd64&file=pool%2Fmain%2Fk%2Fkino%2Fkino_1.1.1-1ubuntu1_amd64.deb&md5sum=e87a92d21192154a9dca4a8ed4c63405&arch=amd64&type=main

Btw. I see absolutely no sense for using the 64Bit version of Ubuntu, because the 32Bit is far better and runs smoothly.
